

Overdue library book notices are coming home again this week from ARS. Please find and return the book, replace it with a hard copy, or pay for the missing books so D3 can purchase a new copy.

Mrs. Nichols's kindergarten class took advantage of this windy day to fly kites! Fun was had by all students, parents, and teachers who joined!










8th graders – Each year the Fox River Grove Recreation Council gives out two $250 cash awards at graduation. The requirements to apply for this award and application packets can be picked up from the office. Completed application and forms are due back by Friday, May 12th.

Mark your calendars: April 21 – April 23 is the Fox River Grove Middle School Theatre's production of Mary Poppins Jr. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Adults are $5 / each and Children and Seniors (65+) are $3 / each. Performance times are: Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22 at 7 P.M. and Sunday, April 23 at 2 P.M.

Kindergartners were using rhythmic pictures for early composition today in music. Each student performed their song for the class.

The track meet for today (4/4) is canceled due to inclement weather.

The District 3 Art department and FRG Memorial Library would like to invite you to our annual Art Show at the FRG Library on Friday, April 14th from 4-6 pm. Join us for snacks, music, and art activities on both floors of the library, and support our creative students!


FRGMS has another soon-to-be published student-writer in the building! Congrats to RM, whose poetry was selected for publication in 2023's Young American Poetry Digest. Her poem was chosen by a panel of experienced educators. Keep writing D3!

FRGMS's Beta Club had a donation drive for Helping Paws in Woodstock. Thank you for the generous donations.


Kindergarten students have been learning about the structure and function of the human body in STEM. They wrapped up their unit by creating a cast that had to be light, comfortable, strong, and waterproof!

Miss Angel and Mr. John led the dinosaur-themed activity, while Mr. Walton and Mrs. Piecuch were guest readers today at Fox River Grove Memorial Library's family storytime. Thanks for having us, FRGML! Next visit: April 6. Come and see who the next D3 visitors will be.





As a Women's History Month activity, students in grades 1-4 were asked, "What woman do you admire most and why?" Grades 1-2 shared their responses aloud; grades 3-4 decorated the CLC with written responses. ARS students are lucky to have so many admirable women in their lives!



This Thursday, March 16th, is the Middle School Dodgeball Tournament. This is open to all FRGMS 5th - 8th graders. Forms and money must be turned in no later than tomorrow, Wednesday, March 15th.
