Last but not least! Matt Mayer is entering his 18th year in education and first as superintendent. Matt lives in McHenry with his wife Julie and children, Amelia and Ben. Outside of education Matt spends most of his time split between softball and baseball fields. Welcome to FRG!

We are excited to welcome Laura Frankiewicz as Co-Interim Director of Student Services. Laura is beginning her 47th year in special education. She has been helping out as interim special education administrator in many districts since her retirement in 2015. She is grateful to be able to continue to support students with disabilities, their families, and teachers and staff. Dr. Frankiewicz is a snow bird now, splitting time between Illinois and Florida. Fun fact- Laura loves classical ballet and continues to take ballet classes. 🩰

Danny Burton is in his first year as a teacher at Fox River Grove Middle School. Danny lives in Fox River Grove with his wife and his dog Loki. Danny loves to garden, play soccer, read, and play video games!

We are excited to introduce our new ARS STEM teacher, Lexy Dalzell. Lexy is very excited to start the school year and is thrilled to be teaching STEM! She graduated from Eastern Illinois University with honors in May this year and cannot wait for school to start so she can meet everyone! A fun fact about her is she is very involved in horseback riding, and is always ready to talk about anything horses!

This year marks Mrs Bentle‘s 20th year teaching art! Mrs Bentle lives in The Grove with her husband, Tom, and her daughters, Georgia and Sunny. A fun fact about Mrs Bentle is that she ran an art school from her home which served Fox River Grove families and other local communities, she even ran art summer camps! Welcome to Breanne Nevers, one of our new 3rd-grade teachers! Breanne is the oldest of five siblings and grew up in Crystal Lake. Two interesting facts about her are that she lived in Italy for three months and has skydived before!

Welcome to our new Kindergarten teacher! Lindsey Larson is in her 12th year of education. She lives with her husband, two kids, and energetic dog in Crystal Lake. A fun fact is that she attended Algonquin Road School as a child.

Introducing our new First Grade Teacher, Lindsay! Lindsay Golich lives in Fox River Grove with her husband and 2 sporty boys. She has been teaching for 13 years and loves traveling, cooking, and running. A fun fact about Lindsay is that she was an Iowa state track champion in high school for the 4x100 and 4x200 for two years in a row.

Next up, our new Speech Language Pathologist! Taylor Rudnicki is starting her 18th year as a speech-language pathologist. She lives in Barrington Hills with her husband and two children. When not at work, you can find her at the Leafs Ice Rink where both of her children play travel hockey. A fun fact is in July 2023, Taylor celebrated her third year of being cancer free!

Bailey is entering her first year as a teacher and is a recent graduate of Carthage College. While earning her degree in Music Education, she participated in band, orchestra, drumline, percussion ensemble, jazz band, and choir. A fun fact is that she is a triplet, and both of her sisters are teachers too!
