In STEM class, Kindergarten has been learning about the human body and bones. We have explored x-rays, and what happens when you break a bone. Students learned about how casts need to be strong, light and comfortable to be able to hold the bone in place to heal, and these last two weeks we’ve been making casts! -Ms. Dalzell

6th grade exploring the relationship between height and potential energy!









When it’s 70 degrees and sunny in February, the fifth grade band rehearses outside! We worked on our B flat scale, played rhythm games, and strengthened our aural skills by “playing by ear” (playing music without reading notes on a page)!






2nd Grade ARS Artists have been practicing weaving on cardboard looms to create these blankets for sleeping cats and dogs!

8th-grade students in Grammar & Writing are proving that teamwork makes the dream work and in literature delving deep into their novel Summer of the Maraposas!
